PROMISSORY NOTE
Promissory Note is a written document and is a simple promise to pay back the money to a  lender according the specified terms. The promissory note can be unsecured and secured. Secured promissory note is secured by the collateral source such as a car or house. In the case of real estate transaction promissory note attached to property and secured by the deed of trust, mortgage, or a land contra which creates a voluntary lien on the borrower's real estate and its ensures that the lender will paid back. An unsecured promissory note is not attached to anything and based on the borrower's ability to repay.
